As others have noted, with modern equipment, so much for the driver. Microsoft pays companies to restrict their development of proprietary drivers for OEMs with whom they have volume license agreements for the sale of Windows. Without these dirty tricks, Microsoft can not compete with Linux and OSX. The problem is that Windows scales horribly and can not enjoy the new Quad and 8-core as Linux can. This means that no matter what hardware you throw in a Microsoft operating system, Microsoft erode its potential, as the acid thrown on a new car.

I bought this computer for three weeks ago. This is my first Mac, after having spent 22 years with DOS and Windows PC. I will never go back to when Apple still makes computers. That's all a computer "personnel" should be. It 'easy to use and understand, boots very fast, closing fast, zips through the Internet with its cool Safari browser, and not all tasks that a Windows system not only better. The applications included are fantastic. Everything is running so easy, because Apple provides applications, operating system, and build their own systems. Mail, iPhoto, and a myriad of other programs running perfect. I also bought Quake 4 on the system and runs quickly and smoothly.

My first "Apple" was bought an Apple IIe in 1984. Over the years, has always been one of Apple in our house. In 1995 I bought my first MS-DOS computer, because the software programs used in my work requires the platform.
Over the past 15 years I've lived in both worlds. This ended with the advent of Vista in the world MS-DOS. Living on the Edge "bleeding" in both worlds, I found that I needed at that time a lot more problems in the world MS-DOS, but software programs for office, dass MS-DOS also required constant updates and regular virus checks .
